The Wool - Mason, MI 

The shepherdess that we partner with for wool (and moral support) is Bridget Kavanaugh of Michigan Merinos. She’s a modern woman who cares for her land and her animals. Bridget’s farm is MAEAP-certified (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program). That means her regenerative farming practices are validated by the state of Michigan. Bridget’s farm can be called Climate Beneficial; it returns more carbon to the earth than it releases. 

Regenerative agriculture practices, like rotational grazing, restores the topsoil on her land, eliminates the need for fertilizers whose runoff would otherwise damage the local water supply and surrounding land, and restores the atmosphere in her region. 

Bridget’s farm embodies the Fair Enough mantra, Balance Baby. Her farming works in harmony with the natural world, not against it.

The Yarn - East Jordan, MI

Stonehedge Fiber Mill has been family owned and operated since 1999. With a discerning standard for quality Stonehedge has contributed to a number of projects namely, supplying the yarn to Ralph Lauren for 100% USA-made sweaters for the USA Olympic team.
